The AdultMates are a "high back" style, this will help when looking for plastic pants to cover them.AdultMates are an Australian Nappy product for those adults that have additional needs eg: incontience. We are making nappy use easier for those effected. All AdultMates products are handmade by myself.
AdultMates come in 3 sizes (they are avaliable in both the plain terry towelling as well as the printed flannel):
- Small - Length 29" (73.8cm) - Crotch 8" (20.4cm) - Fits Waist/Hip 28"-32"(71.0cm-81.4cm)
- Medium - Length 33.5" (84.5cm) - Crotch 9" (22.8cm) - Fits Waist/Hip 33"-36"(83.8cm-91.6cm)
- Large - Length 36.1" (92.0cm) - Crotch 10"(25.3cm) - Fits Waist/Hip 38"-44"(96.5cm-111.7cm)
- Extra Large - Length 42" (104.0cm) - Crotch 11" (27.3cm) - Fits Waist/Hip 40"-48" (101.5cm-17.7cm)

They are also available in Plain White Terry Towelling or in the Funky Colours with the extra cover of Flannel.
What are AdultMates Nappies made from?
AdultMates Nappies are handmade in Australia & made from white double looped terry towelling, absorbent incontinent material (Needled felt for incontinence pads with very high absorption & low washing shrinkage – 70% Polyester, 30% Viscose – 2.5mm thick) , cotton and Hook & Loop Fasteners. Each may vary slightly in size as they are individually cut out & sewn. AdultMates have layers sewn into the nappy which acts like an internal pad which helps to keep baby dry. The inside pad is made from 2 pieces of absorbent incontinent material. Elastic is used in the AdultMates or if you prefer you can request no elastic.
What are the Qualities of all or Products?
Easy to use, convenient, great value, Safe (no pins required for AdultMates), machine washable & easy to clean, able to be dried in the clothes drier or on the washing line, reusable, breathable, they are environmentally friendly, Australian designed & handmade, elastic is used in the AdultMates.
Each Nappy has Hook & Loop Fasteners in the top corners to prevent the Hook & Loop Fasteners from catching on other items being washed at the same time & allows the Nappy to used over time.
Will I need to Use Some sort of Cover?
Yes some sort of cover will need to be used such as; Pilchers, Plastic Pants or Nappy covers. Stay tunned we will hopefully be able to source some sort of Plastic Pants in the next few weeks, depending on the trails being conducted.
When do I need to change My AdultMates Nappy?
This does depend on your routine. This also depends on what the wearer has been doing during the day.
