What exciting news I have for you all this month? Oh yes that's right we now have labels with our logo on them which will be sewn onto the back of new orders!!!! We also have new labels for each size of our FunkyMates Nappies - S, M, L & XL! We are very excited about this! Can you tell!!!LOL.....
Our advertising campagine will be starting for the month of May in Brisbane as well as on line with various baby information sites.

You can start placing orders now (many of you have already which is fantastic) for the new pattern in both the Nappies needing Covers and the AIO (All in One) in all sizes as well as our other products. Both have elastic in the legs which is a new addition - off course if there are Mums and Dads that need the Nappies without the elastic this special order can be placed and filled, just send me an email.
The main reason we have both FunkyMates Nappies avaliable with and without PUL in all sizes is that it gives our customers the choice of which Nappy they wish to use. Some people simply don't like the idea of not having a cover. By having two types of Nappies we are able to give our customers the freedom of choice - something for every little monkey!
What is PUL I hear some of you ask? PUL is an acronymn for PolyUrethane Laminate fabric, it is a breathable industrial strength fabric is 100% polyester and is a built in waterproof cover.
Something to Keep in Mind: "This PUL fabric is laminated with a waterproof membrane that will deteriorate if exposed to the acidic properties found in vinegar. You will need to take care when washing your FunkyMates AIO Nappies as this may case the fabric to leak. It is also recommended that you use a gentle detergent and line dry to extend the life of coated fabrics". This is a caution from our supplier. The Nappies will also need to be washed a few times to make the PUL work its magic.
Speaking of sizes; we have a larger size now avaliable in the size 3 for those toddlers and older children that require them. This came about by some of our customers making a request for the size 3 which would give them an alternative rather than the costly exercise of disposable Pull Ups and bigger Nappies.
We are certainly open to making up special orders for our customers which is how some of our products have come about. For example the AdultMate now avaliable in 4 sizes!
Lay-bys are welcome, all you will need to do is contact us after placing an order - we are happy to have them over 8-12 weeks with a small deposit and a small payment each week/fortnight - we can discuss special terms if needed as we certainly understand how tight things can get with babies on the way plus toddlers in toe!
Some more exciting news.....my supplier has finally got the Cow Print back and I have brought up big. In 2006/2007 it was our biggest seller in all of our range, so I am pleased to continue that tradition.
FunkyMates are an Australian based company who make Infant products – including Nappies, Breast Pads, Baby Wipes & Nappy Liners.
